Big Changes a'comin!

We are nearing the completion phase of the new computer room!!! By the end of this week the vinyl cutter, the big printer, engraver, rubber-stamp machine, and several workspaces will be moved into a lovely new 12x32' room towards the back of our building. The new carpet went in last night, and the cats pronounced it "miaow!" This will, of course, lead to major reshuffling of the front part of the shop, but that's all good, too.

The Family Reunion was a great success, too. over 30 attendees, and we had a nice time together. The memory auction was a surprise win, and we raised over $600 for the House of Hope. Thanks, family!

How about this Stimulus?

How about the government doesn't give any money to big companies in a "stimulus" package" or "bailout package", and, in turn doesn't dictate how much money their executives can make? Common sense ought to dictate that a company that is up against the wall should be thinking already about limiting its executives compensation, and if it's not, IT WILL FAIL! That's how free enterprise works!

Groundswell!

OK only 2 orders so far, but we'll put the obligatory warning in the packages to tell folks that "intent to render currency unfit for reissue is illegal, punishable by fine and/or up to six months imprisonment"
Whew!

Sill Family Reunion!

The Family reunion is scheduled for March 14th from Noon on. We're trying something new for this on. It's called a Memory Auction. Here's how it works! Bring an object to the auction that has general memory value that attendees can bid on. It may be art, or decoration, document, whatever, and value is not really important. 100% of the proceeds go to the House of Hope, a Front Royal based Homeless Shelter.

We're using a luau theme for the event, but don't stay away just because you don't have an aloha shirt! Decorations are welcome but not obligatory. Main thing is just COME!

Since we have plenty of room there, the event will be held at Heaven Sent Shoppe, 119 Chester Street, Front Royal VA 22630 E-mail me or comment here if you need directions!

Say "No" to the stimulus!

This is a case where doing nothing is less harmful than doing the //very// wrong thing.

Welcome to the Upper End. Our part of the Valley. The Shenandoah Valley, to be more precise. There'll be more pictures in interesting links posted anon.
